Fiesta Texas / Jeremy Camp

The Youth will be taking a trip to Fiesta Texas for the day on June 25th. That evening, Christian artist, Jeremy Camp will also be in concert at the park. The cost for a ticket is $30, and there are meal tickets that are available to be purchased in advance for $10. Any student that is interested in going must contact Jordan Mims by June 2nd to receive a ticket at the $30 price. Email him at youth "at" fbcrockport "dot" net or call the church office.

Journey Youth Camp - July 11-15th

It's time to sign-up for Youth Camp! This summer for camp we are returning to Highland Lakes Camp to attend their Journey Youth Camp during the week of July 11-15th. The cost for attending camp is $150, and that covers everything. To sign-up for camp, each camper needs to fill out the camp registration forms and medical release forms. These forms along with a $25 deposit are due May 30th. Registration forms are available in the church office, or you can e-mail Jordan at youth "at" fbcrockport "dot " net with your mailing address, and they will be mailed out to you. Please do not let your teenager miss out on this exciting and possible life-changing opportunity.

Youth Discipleship

High School Sunday Night Discipleship is now known as "The Tribe." The name of our group comes out of 1 Peter 2:9 stating that "You are a chosen tribe, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for his own possession, that you may proclaim the excellencies of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light." The Tribe meets Sunday evenings from 5:30-7pm at the Mims' residence for all those in grades 9^th-12^th. This is time of fun and fellowship followed by diving into God's Word. Come and be a part of The Tribe!

Middle School Sunday Night Discipleship is now known as "Momentum." This group is a time where middle school students can gain momentum in their spiritual walk through exciting activities with one another and through innovative Bible study. Momentum meets Sunday evenings from 4:30-6pm in room 131 for all those in grades 6^th-8^th.

See You At The Pole T-shirts

Students we are taking orders for this year's SYATP t-shirts. The cost of the t-shirt is $10 and there are sizes available from YXL - XL. This Sunday Sept. 13th is the deadline to order a shirt. Please give your money and t-shirt size to Jordan, and he will hook you up with one of these sweet T's. (Take a look at the sweet picture above for an example of this year's shirt).

See You At The Pole

It's that time again for See You At The Pole! Thousands of students all across the nation will converge on their campus' flagpole the morning of September 23rd. The theme verse for this year is 2Kings 22:13a saying "Go and Pray." I challenge every Christian student to take a stand for Christ at your campus on September 23rd and pray for your school, your peers, and the nation. Remember students, Jesus stood and died for you on the cross, and now it is time for you to make a stand for Him!
