Sermon Notes: Commencement

This next sermon series is called "Commencement." As high school and college graduates venture out into the "real world," they will find their faith in Christ challenged and will have to decide how to live their lives. This series will help them, and every Christian, better know how to follow Christ and be in but not of the world. (Click on the link below for the sermon slides.)

May 23: Commencement: The Indispensible Quality   Philippians 2:1-11

Fiesta Texas / Jeremy Camp

The Youth will be taking a trip to Fiesta Texas for the day on June 25th.  That evening, Christian artist, Jeremy Camp will also be in concert at the park.  The cost for a ticket is $30, and there are meal tickets that are available to be purchased in advance for $10.  Any student that is interested in going must contact Jordan Mims by June 2nd to receive a ticket at the $30 price.  Email him at youth "at" fbcrockport "dot" net or call the church office.

Vacation Bible School 2010

VBS Worker Thank You A great big "thank you" is extended to all the ranch hands at Saddle Ridge Ranch during this year's VBS. God moved in a mighty way among the guests at the ranch and Church vans had to run double routes on several days. The total enrollment was 299 with 30 professions of faith. Teachers, secretaries, cooks, recreation leaders, and many others shared their time and talents in this wonderful outreach effort. God is so good! THANK YOU!

Journey Youth Camp - July 11-15th

It's time to sign-up for Youth Camp!  This summer for camp we are returning to Highland Lakes Camp to attend their Journey Youth Camp during the week of July 11-15th.  The cost for attending camp is $150, and that covers everything.  To sign-up for camp, each camper needs to fill out the camp registration forms and medical release forms.  These forms along with a $25 deposit are due May 30th. Registration forms are available in the church office, or you can e-mail Jordan at youth "at" fbcrockport "dot " net with your mailing address, and they will be mailed out to you.  Please do not let your teenager miss out on this exciting and possible life-changing opportunity.
