The beautiful wind-swept oak trees are a striking and distinctive feature of the Aransas County landscape.  Just as the wind and the salt air shapes the oaks, we believe that the powerful presence of God is shaping us with the love of Jesus Christ!

The mission of FBC Rockport is to lead all people to be shaped by the love of Christ.

We believe His love is shaping us through the lordship of Jesus Christ.

• Philippians 2:10-11 "That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father."
• John 14:15 "If you love me, you will obey what I command."
  

We believe His love is shaping us through the authority of Holy Scripture.

• 2 Timothy 3:16-17 "All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the man of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work."
•   2 Samuel 22:31 "As for God, his way is perfect; the word of the LORD is flawless."
• Jeremiah 23:29 "Is not my word like fire," declares the LORD, "and like a hammer that breaks a rock in pieces?"
• Colossians 3:16 "Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly as you teach and admonish one another with all wisdom."
